 DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Picture
The Developmental Program (formally Junior Olympic (JO), was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must have a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely (USA Gymnastics). Our DP gymnasts are either invited to join the team or tryout to make the team. We start our gymnasts at our Training Team level and allow them to move up based on their personal progress. We currently offer up to Level 10. Girls ages 4 and up are welcome to tryout.

TOPS

TOPs (Talent Opportunity Program), is a talent search and educational program for female gymnasts ages 7-10 and their coaches. During the months of June and July gymnasts age 7-10 are evaluated on physical abilities at the state or regional level (USA Gymnastics).  TOPS is for gymnasts that are currently in our DP program and must be invited to join.

Xcel

Picture
XCEL is an alternative USA Gymnastics competitive program offering individual flexibility to gymnasts. The focus of the Xcel Program is sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and fun. The emphasis in the Xcel Program is on correct technique, quality, and performance of skills. The Xcel Program creates an environment for each individual gymnast to grow in the skills that are best suited for them

We believe the sport of gymnastics provides students with many benefits that extend far beyond the boundaries of the gym. Our students learn self-discipline, confidence, social skills, as well as an appreciation for physical fitness.
