Giving Back
As a non-profit, RGC relies heavily on fundraising efforts in order to do everything we do. We are also committed to giving back and focus largely on youth athletics and youth development. RGC donates annually to The Jerry Gamble Boys and Girls Club In North Minneapolis to support youth of color in MPLS. To learn more about the Boys and Girls Club visit their website HERE.
FUNDRAISIING
RGC is a non-profit, meaning we rely heavily on fundraising, and donations from our community. Here is what our year typically looks like and where we allocate our funds.
Q1: Equipment Updates/Gym Needs
January - March
Safety is our TOP priority, and gymnastics equipment is expensive. Proceeds we make during quarter 1 fundraisers go directly back into the gym to update and/or replace equipment, or add new, up to date training mats!

Q2: Scholarships & Discounts
April-June
RGC believes that EVERYONE deserves the chance to experience gymnastics. We will use proceeds made during quarter 2 to offer a 50% scholarships and/or discounted fees to families needing financial assistance. Scholarships at RGC can be used towards any of our programming. Scholarships for our Recreational Program is application based.
(Pick up your application at the front office)
Q3: Giving Back!
July - September
During quarter 3, RGC hosts our largest fundraiser of the year, The Glitz and Glam. We are committed to donating a portion of our proceeds to the Jerry Gamble Boys and Girls Club and giving back to our community however we can! Our outreach efforts and donations change yearly. Here is what RGC has done in the past!
- In 2019 RGC adopted six families with children 17 and under through Adopt a Family Angels and with the primary help of our Team families, provided these families with needs they expressed. RGC hand delivered donations to families all over Minnesota.
- In 2018 RGC put together Birthday Party baskets and donated them to Loaves and Fishes. These bags provided young children in our community the supplies needed to make their birthday party one to remember.
- In 2017 RGC put together food shelter donations and donated to VEAP.
- In 2016 RGC made tie blankets and donated them to the Minnesota Children's Hospital.

RGC is growing at a rapid pace. Since August of 2018, RGC doubled their full time staff, and added additional programming. Proceeds made during quarter 4 will be used to offer PTO, and Holiday Pay to our hard working staff working 20+ hours per week, as well as health benefits for our Full Time staff!
