FAQ

Missed classes: In-class make up sessions are available for one missed class per session, if the class is not full. Make-ups must be scheduled in advance. We cannot guarantee space. If in-class make-ups don't work for your schedule, an open gym coupon is available to use at any time. An open gym coupon is available for a second missed class per session.

Behavior: Our staff will do their best to redirect students who are acting out or behaving inappropriately during class. However, if the behavior of any child is affecting the safety of another individual, including the coach, the child may be asked to sit out for the remainder of that class, or be removed from the class for the duration of the session. We absolutely do not condone teasing or bullying of any kind at RGC. If that kind of behavior is spotted or brought to our attention during a class time, the student committing the act will be pulled aside immediately and asked to sit out for the remainder of the class.

Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch in the viewing room any time!

Class Placement: If your child has no prior gymnastics experience please register them for the age appropriate entry beginner level--- 5-7 years old= Beginner 1; 8-12 years old= Beginner 8+; 13+ years old= High School. Progress reports will be given out at the end of the session which will determine whether or not your child should sign up for the next level. If you have questions about what your child needs to move up, please ask your child's coach before or after class or stop by the front desk.

Refunds/Credits: Refunds will be given for any unused class sessions before the second week of a session, less a $15.00 fee.  If a refund is requested after the first two weeks of class, RGC will apply a credit to a future session. Credits will only be given for injuries, illness, or approved circumstances. Credits will be good for one year. The annual Registration Fee is non-refundable.
The credit must be used towards a future session/class, it will not be available as a refund.
Q: What should my child wear to a gymnastics class?
A: Boys or girls may wear tucked in t-shirts and shorts OR leotards for girls. NO chewing gum or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. All students should be barefoot during class, no socks or shoes. Jewelry should not be worn during classes.

Q: How do I register?
A: Simply visit our
Schedules and Fees page for guidance, or call the office and speak with a staff member.

Q: How do I pay for classes?
A: RGC accepts cash, checks and cards (with a 3.75% fee in person). Tuition must be received in order to guarantee your child’s enrollment in a class.

Q: My child took some time off, what class should she/he register for?
A: Register for the same class she or he last participated in. If the time off is longer than one year, your child will need to start at Beginner I or Beginner 8+, depending on their age. If you are still unsure, please call the office and speak with a staff member.

Q: Can I switch class times in the middle of a session?
A: If there is room in another class you may switch. All class changes must be approved by your child's current coach and the front desk staff.

Q: When will I know if my child should move up to the next level?
A: You will receive a progress report at the end of each session that will advise you as to what class your child should take for the next session.

Q: What if my child is late for class?
A: Being on time is very important. However, we understand that this can happen and will gladly accept your child into class.
Please sign-in with the iPad prior to allowing child into the gym.

A: Yes, our coaches can do private lessons. Please see our
